Pastor Lillie received his Masters of Divinity from Concordia in St. Louis, was an L.W. F. Scholar at the University of Bonn Germany, and received his Doctorate in preaching from Seminex in St. Louis. He also served as pastor at Redeemer Lutheran in DeSoto MO, Holy Cross Lutheran in Decatur IL and Peace Lutheran in Steeleville IL before coming to First English. He is married to Nadine. They have two grown sons, Paul and David.

Anita started out as a part-time secretary and is now working full time as Secretary/Office Manager overseeing all the functions of the church office. She is originally from Indiana, making moves to Des Moines IA and Milwaukee WI before settling down in Peoria. She is married with 2 children and 4 grandsons.

Jim has handled many volunteer positions at First English before accepting the position of bookkeeper. He is responsible for the accounting functions, pays bills, and prepares monthly financials. He is married with 2 sons and 4 grandchildren.

Ralph is responsible for the security of the church making sure that all the doors and windows are secure and responds to any alarms. He also is active in many church activities through volunteer work.
