All are welcome to become a part of the FELC community. We journey together in life, helping one another follow Jesus. That journey begins with being our guest in worship, service events, and other activities. The next step is making a commitment to the church and our faith community making a commitment to you. We promise, at baptism, to live among God’s faithful people, to worship, to receive the sacraments, to study the Bible, and to work for justice and peace throughout the world. Members of FELC have the joy and responsibility to vote in congregational matters, help lead worship as called upon, serve on ministry committees, and eventually, perhaps, serve on the Church Council.
New Member Classes are held twice a year in the Fall and Spring, to learn about the Lutheran faith and FELC. If you are a transfer from another church it is a great refresher course, and an opportunity to meet new people and get to know the pastor. If you are new to the faith, the class provides time and a safe space to ask questions. Attending does not obligate you to become a member. For more information contact the church at 309-685-0337 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
